A Day of Rest...and Golf?

Ollie still has a cold, although it seems to be getting worse. He now has a terrible cough on top of all the other runny mess! I think I will have to take him to the doctor's tomorrow. He likes to snuggle and be held right now so he spent lots of time watching golf with Daddy today. I had a baby shower this afternoon, but when I came back they were working on his "grip!!"

Goopy Eyes, Runny Noses, And Drool..Oh My!

My poor little baby woke up this morning with a runny nose! His eye has been goopy for a week or so, but now he can hardly breathe because he has so much up there. Ugh. They say (yes, I am referring to those dang books I read) babies don't know to breathe through their mouths, but as you can see he figured it out. You will also notice that he is sleeping on his stomach. Once he figured out how to roll over, this became his new favorite sleep position. He was asleep at 6:30 tonight because he was so tired. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

A Walk in th Park

I was so hyped up for Idol yesterday that I forgot to post! It was a beautiful day yesterday and My friend Kelli brought Avery (Ollie's girlfriend) over so we could take them for a walk. They both dozed on and off, and unfortunately couldn't see each other. Still, it was great to get them outside in some fresh air!

Get Well Soon Grandma!

William's mom had surgery today, so we made her a get well sign and took some pics in his swing. He hasn't really wanted to be in his swing lately since he is always a movin' and a shakin' these days, but he is pretty cranky today. He actually loved to bang his feet on the middle part so the little guys would shake and make noise. We will miss Daddy tonight for Tubby time, but at least he can give Grandma kisses for us!

Exosaucer Fun!

We have been using the Exosaucer for a couple of months; but he would only play with the toys I put him in front of. He hadn't quite figured out that his seat moved. These days he loves spinning around and giving each toy some equal loving! :)

A Real Hair Raising Day!

We had a busy afternoon. First, we went to Gannons' Ice Cream with Sue and Aunt Lis. Ollie really wanted to try some ice cream! Then we went to see his girlfriend, Avery's new house. They were playing , but she is a bit more mobile than Oliver is. She is almost crawling and as you can see, sit by herself. I think she;s upset that Ollie has longer hair because she went right over and gave his a tug! Being the gentleman that he is, he didn't even flinch!

Let's Go Orange!

Today was S.U. Day at Patti & friends. Syracuse played at 12:15 so all of the kids wore orange and blue. We even wore basketball socks! Ollie and I made sugar cookies last night to share with his friends. Aunt Tiffer helped me frost them blue and orange! At least one of us got to watch the game...I could only listen to the win on the radio!

Jolly Jumpin'!

Today we brought out the jolly jumper. What a hoot! He wasn't sure what to make of it at first, but once he figured it out he was bouncing and laughing up a storm. Even better is that he is now the same height as Hogan, whom he loves to play with!
P.S. Check out my pumas!

Superman!

It was rainy here today so we could not head to the park like we have the rest of the week. We had some floor time instead. These days when you put Ollie on the floor he manages to roll to a completely different location than where you put him! He wants to get places but has yet to figure out how to do it. More times than not he ends up in the pose above. One we have dubbed the superman!

Corned Beef and....Bananas??

Oliver had a cute St. Patty's Day outfit to wear to Patti & friends (our babysitter). I spent $7 on this cute kiss me hat with shamrocks but of course I didn't try it on him beforehand. It says 0-9 months, but does not even make it to his ears!! William came home early today so we were able to get some video of Ollie eating his bananas. Maybe we will try some sweet potatoes next!

Bananas!!

Well, William decided in December to start this blog so our families and friends can see the changes little Oliver makes every day. Needless to say it is March and he was a L O N G way from finishing it, so I've decided to just do it myself. I faithfully read my friend Lindsey's blog and love being updated on things going on in her and her family's lives since I don't get to see her often. I am hoping some of you will also enjoy taking a peek into our lives. I am hoping to post everyday, but sometimes I fall asleep on the couch after Ollie heads to bed. :) So anyways, here goes......

We have been eating rice cereal for a month now, but have only just begun to really enjoy it. Today we decided to try some bananas too! He ate his whole thing of cereal and then a big scoop of bananas. He wanted more so I went to get some. Apparently during this time, he figured out that he wasn't still eating rice cereal! He scrunched his face up like he was eating something sour!! One picture is him trying to figure out if he likes it, and the next is him with his belly full! :)
