The Fair

We went to the fair last Saturday and met Avery and Jack. Little did we know it would be a record breaking day with over 115,000 people. Ollie had a great time looking at all of the animals and going on a few rides. He even tried to help Daddy win a new goldfish but ended up knocking over most of the balls! We even got some ice cream for the walk back to the car. Ollie doesn't usually like to hold the cone but apparently did that day..well until he let it drip down the front of him :)

1 month old!

5 days old!

1 month!
Hard to believe they are 5 weeks old already! They use to fit on this pillow together very comfortably. As you can see, they prefer to sleep on it alone these days so they don't get a fist or elbow to the face!

Papa's B-Day!

We were able to celebrate Papa's birthday when they were here. Ollie loved singing to him and clapping. I LOVE the bottom pic because when Ollie gets tired he likes to hold my hand. He was watching Cars (for the millionth time!) and wanted to hold Papa's hand! So sweet! Happy birthday Big Guy!

Grandma Gildner

My dad brought my Grandma up to see the kids while she was in NY. They were here during Kamery Family Fun Weekend so it got a little crazy. Ollie was a little confused about having two papas in the same room!

Grandma with Jake ( She did hold Luke too, I swear!)

We had Kamery Family Fun Weekend this past weekend. Shanell and Jackson flew up from North Carolina, Aunt Tiffer and Eric drove in from Ithaca, and Grandma and Grandpa from P-Ville. It was lots of fun...We hit the pool, the zoo, and just hung around with some good food! Babies did NOT enjoy Grandma Leilous's baked beans like Mommy did :( Oliver loved playing with Jackson and was sad to see them go!

First baths

Their cords finally fell off so we were able to give them a proper bath. The bottom three are Luke and the top three are Jake....we think! (Just kidding, but....note to self: don't use two of the same towels on first bath pics) Honestly, it was a little confusing when they were all wet :) They weren't quite sure what to think of it, but it was a lot warmer than that sponge bath business!

Takin' a walk..

Patti was off one day last week so I had all three boys home. I got a little adventurous and decided to go for a walk. Ollie and Luke were in the stroller and I carried Jakey in the Baby Bjorn. I'm sure it was quite the sight. Ollie was so mad when I didn't put Jake in his car seat because he thought we were leaving him behind. It was so cute... We only went a couple of blocks but apparently that was all it took since all three of them passed out!
P.S. Luke is in the top pic and Jake in the middle :)

Hanging out..

Ollie playing with his new train

Jake having some tummy time..although not really enjoying it

All that work made someone very sleepy :)

Luke likes tummy time...look how high he can get his head already!

Just checkin' things out!

Luke just hanging out

First Bottles

Ollie and Avery sharing (that doesn't always happen too often these days!) the sidewalk chalk. This was the first real bottle attempt. Jake took it ok with William, but Lucas wouldn't take one from me so Kelli gave it to him. We are trying to get them use to the bottle a little since they will have to go to Patti's in a few weeks.

Duck Pond

Last weekend we took Ollie to the duck pond so he could feed them. He loved it so much I think he would have went right in the water if William wasn't holding him! The goose at the bottom popped right out of the water and scared the crap out of us (ok, mostly me).

Sleeping the day away!

Jake

Can you figure out who is who? :) Jake is on the left

Luke is on the left and Jake on the right.
They are still trying to figure out the whole day and night thing. Some nights are great and they will sleep 3-4 hrs at a time and then other nights they are up wide awake ready to party until 3 am. They typically face the same way and not towards each other, which I find interesting. I love the bottom pic because Jacob is always wiggling out of his jammies. ( can't really blame him since everything is so big!)

Home!

We are happy to be home, but still adjusting to life as a family of five..especially Ollie. It breaks my heart that he is not transitioning well. So, we spent the weekend as a family, which helped, and we are making efforts to take him places by himself to help ease his confusion. He is starting to take more of an interest in them..other than squeezing them that is! I'm still trying to get a picture of him holding both of them, but he hasn't wanted to do that yet. The little boys are starting to show some personality, which is rather funny. Lukey is just like William, and is usually the mover and the shaker, while Jakey is more like me and is more laid back. I've already started calling them by nicknames which William isn't too fond of, but they go perfectly with Ollie, so I figure it can't be helped :) The other night they slept from 10-2, which was awesome, but last night it was back to every 2 hrs. They haven't woken Ollie up yet, so that is a blessing in itself. We have been out in the new stroller, which is fun..even for Ollie who doesn't usually like to ride anymore!
