We are happy to be home, but still adjusting to life as a family of five..especially Ollie. It breaks my heart that he is not transitioning well. So, we spent the weekend as a family, which helped, and we are making efforts to take him places by himself to help ease his confusion. He is starting to take more of an interest in them..other than squeezing them that is! I'm still trying to get a picture of him holding both of them, but he hasn't wanted to do that yet. The little boys are starting to show some personality, which is rather funny. Lukey is just like William, and is usually the mover and the shaker, while Jakey is more like me and is more laid back. I've already started calling them by nicknames which William isn't too fond of, but they go perfectly with Ollie, so I figure it can't be helped :) The other night they slept from 10-2, which was awesome, but last night it was back to every 2 hrs. They haven't woken Ollie up yet, so that is a blessing in itself. We have been out in the new stroller, which is fun..even for Ollie who doesn't usually like to ride anymore!
Ollie will eventually adjust=-) My boys were only 18 months apart and Matt would try to cuddle with Christopher by laying his head on him, unknowingly head butting him every time! Then he went through a stage where all he did was smack him in the face. He wanted to interact, but did not know quite how=-)I cannot wait to meet the two cuties! I am so happy for you and hope you are on the mend! Love to you all!
