I Love GH!

The video is a little dark, but hopefully you can make it out ok. Aunt Tiffer and I watch GH everyday and Ollie LOVES the opening with the music. He plays happily on the floor until it comes on and then is glued to the tv until it is over. I suppose you are never to young to learn about Port Charles!

Big Boy Tubbies!

We have become a little adventurous with tubby time. Normally, we use his baby tub because it is easier to keep everything contained. Since he had to take a tubby when we were home this past weekend, I thought we would try out the big boy tub. (Also for space issues..imagine a very large SUV packed with baby gear and a VERY large dog.....I try to leave any big stuff I can at home) He loved having all of his toys in the tubby and could splash way more! I used this picture from Grandma Sally's tub because ours is black (My thoughts exactly...who puts in black tubs? Probably the same person who put in our black sinks and toilet!) and the pictures don't come out as good. Yeah for Big Boy Tubbies!

Hogan James

I didn't take any pictures today, shocking I know. We had a great afternoon though because Ollie played by himself happily as he pushed himself backwards all over the place. I could actually get a couple of things done! At one point he even ended up on the fireplace ledge! Still no crawling for those of you keeping track. These pics are from our car ride home yesterday. Hogan's favorite sleeping spot is right next to Ollie....except when he is screaming and crying because then he gets nervous!

Family Fun Day #2!

Here is a family picture from the graduation party we went to on Saturday. Also, here is a video of Ollie playing with Grandma Kamery today before we left to head home. Such fun! Our ride home was a little better (aka..not as much crying) but we did have to stop more. Basically, we just have to put it into our minds that a trip home now takes 4-5 hours instead of the usual 3! We planned on stopping to see my dad today on our way out, but could not get ahold of him. So, even without any additional visits, it took us 4hrs 15 min. this afternoon. Grandma Sally suggested driving at night. We may have to look into that!

Family Fun!

We have a busy weekend planned. We left early to come home to good 'ol Portville, New York. Let me tell you the days of riding and sleeping are WWAAYY behind us. It took us almost 5 hours to get home because he wouldn't stop crying from about Pen Yan on. Poor Hogan James even had to sit in the front seat (not too comfy for him) so I could try to distract him from the crying. Anyways, once we got home we were thrilled to find out Uncle Jason, Aunt Melody, and cousins were on their way. Halle liked holding Ollie, and Ben really liked pulling his hair! Ollie and Ben are 3 months apart, however, they are the same weight. :) We had a graduation party to go to today so I will post those pics tomorrow. Hard to believe it will be Sunday already!

Lil' Crunchies

We were expecting a visit from Great-Grandma Stuck, Uncle Don, and Aunt Debbie today, but Uncle Don came down with a cold. Bummer. So of course, we did the next best thing...grocery shopping. It is so much more enjoyable now days that I can see in front of me. Ollie has been enjoying cheerios and puffs, but today we got a little adventurous and got the "crunchies." Basically they are a baby version of the cheese curls. The best part is that he has to feed himself. So far, he has not been that interested in the do-it-myself type foods. He would much rather have someone feed him. Luckily with a little practice...it was a success!

New Duds!

Being June 1st and all, one would think that would mean summer weather. Hmmm. 47 degrees this morning does not equal summer temps in my world. On the bright side, we finally got to wear this cute outfit Grandma Sally got us for Christmas. It has cute cords,a button down, and a sweater. We haven't been able to wear it because Ollie seems to have picked up Daddy's body temperature and prefers less clothing.
