Hugs

Oliver is starting to give hugs and kisses. Here is a pic of him giving a hug to a stuffed animal. It looks so cute...one would never know that he got in trouble at Patti's today for hitting one of his friends! He is SOOO stubborn ( I have NO idea where that came from!) and when he wants something he will certainly let you know, right down to the scream, flailing arms, and arched back. Dear Lord...is this leading us into those terrible twos?

Surprise Party for Daddy!

Yesterday was a busy day. Ollie and I went to Summer's shower in the afternoon. He didn't really have his afternoon nap, so considering that he was great! He was so tired though and kept laying down on the floor, as you can see. Then later that night, Patti came over so we could go to "dinner". Unfortunately, Mr. Slick went to the bathroom and saw his partner, Garry in the bar, where everyone was meeting to surprise him. It was great fun and lots of people came to wish him a Happy 30th! The downside is that the three of us are a little under the weather..so hopefully a day of snuggling on the couch will do us wonders. :)

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today is William's 30th birthday. Mrs. Hoover brought over Abby & Emma to play with Ollie. He wasn't too sure at first what to think, but eventually he loved it. Ollie helped Daddy with his birthday pie..and managed to get it all over! Good thing it was a tubby night! He loved Mimi's card because it played music and lit up, so Daddy let him have it. Happy Birthday, Daddy!

We managed to get a short video of Ollie saying bye ( or biyee, rather). So far, it hasn't gotten old :) Look for great pics tomorrow since it is Daddy's birthday!

Ollie Loves Grandpa!

We went home this weekend. We celebrated William's bday with Grandma and Grandpa Kamery. We also got to see Grandma Sally. Grandma Kamery was mad because Ollie would crawl right over to the Big Guy whenever he walked in the room and put his hands up to be picked up! Here is a pick of the two of them playing with the leapfrog that Aunt Nelly and Jackson sent up! He also started saying bye (which comes out biiiyyeee) so hopefully I can get that on video this week sometime...soo cute!

Hogie's Helper

Ollie found a new fun game! He likes to grab handfuls of Hogie's food and throw it across the floor for Hogan to go and get. Hogan did get a little sick of the chase after a while..but still great fun! Aunt Tiffer thought we were crazy making such a mess, but I of course, reinforced all of the skills he was learning!

Picky, Picky..

Feeding time has become quite the power struggle these days. Ollie prefers to eat things whole and not have me cut them up into pieces. So, here he is with a WHOLE strawberry! Luckily, it smooshes (is that a real word?) or I would be freaking out! I guess the power struggles have started!
