Happy Mother's Day!

I had a fantastic Mother's day! First, Daddy and Ollie gave me presents (a 75 min foot massage at a spa, flowers, new shorts, and a dress). Then we all got ready and headed to Matt and Kelli's for brunch. The kids got to play (they were on vacation and then Ollie got a little cold so we hadn't seen them in a while) and we had some great food. Once we got home, Ollie and I both took naps while daddy cleaned the house. He even mopped! I know I don't tell him enough how thoughtful he is since daily routines just take over..but he really is one of a kind! it was so great to wake up to a clean house :) Hope everyone else had a great Mother's Day too!

Happy 3rd Birthday Jackson!

Our friends Erik and Michelle had a birthday party for their son, Jackson yesterday. Grandma and Grandpa K were planning on coming up this weekend so we weren't planning on going, but Grandma got a new job so we were able to go. Ollie had a blast playing with all the kids and toys. Unfortunately, we now have to buy him a Handy Manny tool set like Jack has! Jack got a motorcycle for his birthday and even let Ollie sit on it! I have to admit, it is a pretty cool bike! William took the top pic of Jack because his teeth were covered in black frosting from the cake.

Boxes are fun too!

We keep this box accessible so when daddy's back is acting up he can put his computer on it and stand up at the table. Well, Ollie just recently found it and now loves to play in the box. Who needs toys, right?

P.S. I know you are all waiting patiently to see pics of his new room. It is basically done, but in my mind I was thinking we could just slide his crib into the new room. Yeah, not so much. So, William has to take the whole thing apart and then reassemble in the new room! Maybe he can get to it this weekend and I can post some pics.

Outside play

It was a warm day and Daddy was sanding and painting the dresser that is going in his new room so we were outside playing. Daddy took a little break and pushed Ollie on the swing. He giggled up a storm. I thought it would be fun to compare the picture today from a year ago when he was just a little guy! The top pic is something new that he has recently started....he rolls things between his legs and then watched it with his head down.

Order, order, order

Ollie had his 18 month checkup today. It's a little late since he will be 19 months in a week or so, but we tried to make it for break last week but that didn't work out. He weighs just over 25 lbs! Daddy took him (Mommy hates those shots and he definitely knows they are coming now!) and they stopped at Golf Galaxy on their way there. I'm not sure if many of you know, but Ollie absolutely loves to line things up. He does it with all kinds of stuff, his animals, his bowls, cups, you name it. Well, William turned around in the store and he was lining up golf grips! Too funny!

Outlets

Last Friday we met my friend, Sondra and her daughter, Lela at the Outlets. She is such a cutie pie..of course Ollie loved her. I was hoping to find the outfit Ollie wore home from the hosptial so I could get another one, but no such luck. While we were looking in Carters we saw Aly and Willy! It was so random, but great too!

Fish..

We have been working on getting the attic (AKA..new spare bedroom) ready so we can move Ollie into his new Big Boy Room! Part of his new addition is the fish tank that was downstairs. Yes, we did try to kill the fish before so we could get rid of it, but.....since we watch Finding Nemo at least once a day, we thought it would be better suited in his new room. He loved going to the fish store and seeing all of the fish. Hopefully we can get his room done by next weekend!

P.S. We went to the outlets on Friday and met my friend, Sondra and her daughter Lela, but those pics are on the regular camera and we need Daddy's computer for that. So, those will be coming soon!
