Playtime

Aunt Linda brought us this toy from her friend, Rose. It is pretty cool and hooks up to the TV and plays games. It is a little advanced for us though, so luckily you can just play with it alone and it will make noises. He loves banging on it, as you can see!

Stinkerpot!

I usually try to read a couple of stories to Ollie before bed (unless he is a big crank!). Here is a pic of him waiting for Daddy to get home tonight. Apparently the story was sooo good, he thought he'd gnaw on it a little :) Does this look like the face of a child who has only napped for an hour TOTAL?? I have yet to figure out how that is possible, but you'll now understand why we call him Stinkerpot!

Avery!

Today was another beautiful day! We took Hogan James for a walk and then went to see Miss Avery at her new house. It is hard to believe she is only 3 weeks older than Ollie! She not only crawls everywhere, but up entire flights of stairs!! They loved squaking and grabbing at each other. It was the perfect end to the weekend!

Hot, Hot, Hot!!

Today was a BEAUTIFUL day here in Central NY. I think we hit 87 degrees..in April! I'll take it! We got to wear shorts and sunblock. If you look closely at the picture, you will notice there is no grass, only mud. UGH. Hogan has pretty much turned our backyard into his own private mudpit playground. William is attempting to get the grass to grow back. He hooked up Ollie's new swing so we could get some work done outside. He's a little small for it, but that doesn't matter since he loved it!

The Kamery Boys

Ollie is starting to get back to normal...finally! Patti said he didn't cry today until I called at lunch. Go figure. Daddy lets Hogan James lick his hands (which he loves!) because he giggles like crazy. Of course, Mommy is waiting with a baby wipe before he puts those fingers back in his mouth! :) We are looking forward to the beautiful weekend that is in store for us....hello shorts!!

Cranky Pants?

I have new found respect for mothers who have babies with colic. This week Ollie has been crying pretty much non-stop. Things he normally loves (his exosaucer, rolling around on the floor, his friends at Patti's, etc) result in loud, constant crying. William says he is just manipulating us and wants to be held. I buy this theory on some level, but he even cries sometimes when you are holding him. So, part of me thinks there has to be something else(like teething since he chewed on a frozen teething ring till he was close to frostbite!). And, why all of a sudden? We had such a great time last week. Poor Patti has to hear it all day long...I hope she doesn't boot us! The silver lining?? The big boy can sit up by himself as seen above, however, these were the best pics I could get due to all of the crying! If anyone has any theories....I'd love to hear 'em!

Hobart Orange!

It is turning out to be such a beautiful week here in Syracuse, New York. I had to get Ollie outside to enjoy some fresh air. Since he is such a big boy now, I decided to bring out the umbrella stroller instead of lugging out the big one. Of course, it is Hobart orange! He really enjoyed being able to move around more and see everything. We can't wait for the 70 degree weather later on this week...maybe he can wear one of his new short outfits from Grandma Sally!
