Whose toothbrush is this?

There are multiple reasons for going this long between posts. Good ones, I swear. First, following the last post, Ollie came down with a fever of 103.7 and we ended up taking him to the doctor's office on Sunday. he had all of the symptoms and signs of strep but apparently toddlers don't get strep (who knew?) so they classified it as viral and keep giving him Tylenol. William ended up staying home with him on Monday. By Tuesday I was ready to post, but William's computer wouldn't let sign in. I have been using his computer because the new camera is already set up for that computer and our desktop is just plain old. This continued days, without being able to sign in. Our friends Matt and Kelli had their baby, Jackson Harvey, and I was so excited to post pictures. Yup, couldn't sign in. By Thursday I was pretty annoyed and just decided to wait until the weekend. Meanwhile, Ollie went from being sick to getting another tooth so he was whiny and miserable for about 3 days. He wouldn't let us brush his teeth, which he normally loves to do. (Let me tell you that even though he's cute....eating the same food as us+lots of milk+no brushing=smelly breath!) Finally, it popped through somewhere (he wouldn't let me get my fingers in there like I normally do!) and he was back to normal....we finally slept 7-8 straight hrs. again! There is a God! Yes, I know I am just fooling myself into thinking this will continue once these babies show up, but I can dream, right? So anyways, here is a picture of a normal teeth brushing-he lets us brush with his toothbrush and then does his own thing with Mommy's AND Daddy's! Hopefully this sign in thing has been fixed because I have lots of pics from last week!

Got Cake??

I love all of the little traits that Ollie picks up from us. He always crosses his feet like most Kamerys do, he likes to take a few minutes to wake up in the morning like his Mommy, when he watches tv, he is entranced like his Daddy, and just like Mommy, he has a little sweet tooth! We bought these little cupcakes from Wegmans for dessert the other night which are the perfect size for Ollie. Well, he loved it..but also managed to rub i in his hair! It was a disgusting mess, but hilarious!!

Blowing bubbles

Daddy is usually in charge of tubby time. Of course, he teaches him things that I would be terrified to do! I came up tonight to see Ollie putting his face in the water and trying to blow bubbles! This is what he is doing in the beginning.

Letting Hogan out!

We had the day off today for Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday. I had planned to take Ollie sledding for the first time since I finally found him some snow pants and boots, but it was too rainy and most of our snow was slushy. It was disappointing, but we do live in CNY so I am sure we will be able to get out there another day this week! I thought you all might enjoy seeing how fast the little man can move these days. The tin man effect is pretty much gone, although he does still fall sometimes (he fell into the coffee table this afternoon and his little lip even bled a bit!) Usually the first thing we do when we get home from school is let Hogan out. It is so funny to watch how fast he can move!

Little People!

Aunt Shanell saved all of Jackson's Little People and the farm set. Ollie loves it and plays with it everyday! I think that is why he picks up so many animal sounds! His new one is an elephant and he almost has it! His favorite activity is usually lining all of the animals up on the window sill. He is very particular about them. He only likes them to be standing up (the floor included) when he is playing with them. It is so funny! He will look for them in the window on the way in after school too! Thank goodness for Aunt Shanell and Jackson! In other news..Ollie had his 15 month appointment today. He weighs 23.2 pounds and is 32 inches long! He is getting so smart to associate the doctor's office with shots...so he cried almost the whole time we were there. :( But, only one more shot at the 18 month checkup and then he is done until age 5! yippee!

Videos!

I know I promised to post these in a couple of days but....time just got away from me! Well that and the little stinker is on the go all the time now. Here is a short video of him walking from last week (he moves even faster now!) and him saying his animal sounds.

Random Vacay Pics!

Once we made it home again, we tried to relax this week and spend time together since Daddy didn't have to go to work. We had such a great time, I never blogged! Plus, Santa brought me a new camera, which I have yet to completely figure out. But I did catch you up on all of the happenings! This first post has random pics from this week. We have a walker now, which is exciting! I will definitely get some video in the next day or two of him movin'! Happy 2010!

Feeding myself yogurt...not too bad!

Ollie's new friend: Aidan Jacob Freeman
It seems like yesterday we had a little munchkin wrapped in a duck blanket sleeping in a refrigerator drawer! Ollie kept wanting to grab him (and the aspirators!)
