They're Here!

Heading home...we had to stop a lot since everyone wanted to get a
peek on our way out!

First snuggles!

The boys are here! I am sure most of you have already heard, but they arrived on Saturday, July 24th. I was supposed to be induced on Monday but Luke (our original Baby B) was sick of waiting on his brother to get things moving and decided to do it himself! It was hard, but very fast! We didn't get to the hospital until just before 3 am and Lucas Dale was born at 6:44 am and Jacob Allen was born at 6:51. The entire hospital staff was excited since twins are rarely born "the old fashioned way" these days. The hospital can't recommend letting them sleep together but they will usually go right to sleep once they snuggle up.

"Mont-eys"

I am sure you are all sick of looking at zoo pictures, but it is Ollie's favorite place. Today he wanted to go see the "mont-eys" and since it was a smidge less hot we decided to give it a go. Plus, I am hoping the walking gave these other two a notion to get on out. There was a new primate exhibit since the last time we were there, which actually was pretty cool. It is outside, and quite large. Of course we saw our usual faves, the lions, penguins, peacocks, and elephants; but today we even ventured further to see the tigers and deer!
p.s. Notice Ollie's new shoes since his old ones needed to be washed :)

BFFs??

Ollie has learned rather quickly that he can pretty much do anything he wants to Hogan since he lets lets him. We have had a few timeouts though because things that he normally tolerates (fingers up his nose, etc) tend to annoy him when it is about 100 degrees!

Puddles

Daddy took Ollie to Drumlins to help get ready for the tournament. You can tell Mommy wasn't there after you watch this video! Needless to say, he was soaked, but loving every minute of it!

Tournament Helper

Daddy took Ollie to "help" get ready for his tournament at Drumlins. Ollie loves riding in the cart and playing with all of the balls. They rode with Daddy's friend, Sean, the golf pro, to check out the hole locations. Ollie DID NOT want the balls in the holes! He was getting so mad at Sean for hitting them in the holes. You can see in the top pic how his arms are back, which is what he does when he gets mad! He normally naps around 1 but couldn't even make it home before he fell asleep, and they were home by 11 am!

The Stucks!

Aunt Linda and Leanne came last Thursday to visit, and it was such a nice distraction! Daddy even took advantage of me not being alone and was able to get some stuff done for his tournament. It took a little bit for Ollie to warm up, but was loving them by the end. Aunt Linda always brings Ollie little gifts that he loves. This time it was bubbles and a bear floaty for the pool. We now have to play with the bear every time we go in! She even brought good macaroni salad (not the one with all the nasty stuff I hate!) that I have been craving but too lazy to turn the stove on for and hot dogs for lunch. What could be better..lunch and the afternoon with some of our favorite people! Even Leanne gave up her day off to see us, although I am sure a dip in the pool is better than TJ Max!

More Zoo!

As most of you know, Ollie LOVES the zoo and we actually have a good setup to see his faves without having to walk too much (good for me!). These bottom two were from last week when everyone was complaining about the "cold" weather because it was only 67 degrees. We got to check out the lions up close! The top one is from last weekend when Daddy took Ollie for a quick trip. I couldn't go because it was too hot for me to walk around. It was so hot they had to stop and take a water break, and Daddy did such a good job of making him wear his hat :)
