Just when we thought the amoxicillin was working and things were getting back to normal.....we ended up taking Ollie back to the doctors last night. You will notice he is only in his diaper. This is because he had a fever of 103!! Needless to say, this new mom freaked a bit. When you can fry an egg on your child's skin, that is pretty scary! His initial ear infection is gone, but he now has one in the other ear! They are not sure why the amoxicillin didn't clear that one up, but put him on Augmentin instead. Apparently, this is a stronger antibiotic. We are hoping that it works and our poor baby can feel well again!
